10 Worst Things To Do Before Bed

There are a million and one sleep suggestions, but many of them involve experimenting and finding out what works best for you.  However, there are some very important and straight-forward rules of thumb that apply to everyone. Before bed, do not:

1. Exercise

2. Drink alcohol

3. Perform household chores

4. Play video games

5. Watch TV or a movie

6. Use the computer

7. Drink too much fluid

8. Be in lots of bright light

9. Eat a big meal (especially spicy foods)

10. Consume any form of caffeine

If you don’t have time to experiment with other suggestions - which are all pretty much subjective - these 10 tips should still make a big impact on the quality and quantity of your sleep.  Sweet dreams!
