“Sleep to Live” Stores: an idea whose time has come

by Nod on 07/05/2009

I recently observed a store while driving that I have never seen before, called “Sleep to Live”. The store’s name intrigued me, but I had not had the opportunity to go in yet.  So I decided to check out their website, sleeptolive. Their intro video is amazing!   Here’s a bit from their “How we’re different” section to give you a taste of the company.   If you’ve got sleep issues, take a look.

“Too many people are slogging through life, operating on a perpetual sleep deficit, hoping their bodies will adjust over time. But science tells us they don’t. Our bodies rebel in the form of poor judgment, delayed reaction time and other impaired functions. We also can experience high blood pressure, mood disorders and strained relationships. That’s no way to live.”

“Years of sleep research have shown us there is a formula for overcoming this sleep deficit: good sleep behaviors + proper sleep environment + the right sleep equipment = a better quality of sleep.  ….when you’re getting the most out of every hour of sleep, you’ll get more out of every hour you’re awake. That’s sleeping to live.”

I agree.  I’ve had the same opinion on life and sleep for several years.

I’m curious to learn more about this company.  I plan to visit the nearby store with my husband and go through their diagnostic testing to discover the best sleep surface and pillow for us both. I’m sure we will learn something useful and I’ll let you know how it goes. In the meantime check out the websites of Sleep to Live and At Peace Media and jump on a path to living a healthier, fuller life with good sleep behaviors!
